Huhtamaki Paper Recycling supports Action Cancer
HPR was delighted to take over Action Cancer’s Lisburn store on Saturday 26th October to help raise funds for this incredible charity. This was the culmination of the last 3 months of fundraising from HPR whereby HPR staff had attended bag packs, gathered up raffle prizes, collected clothes for donation and held children’s competitions. Julie Thornton (Logistics & Process Administrator) who led the fundraising event said “It was a real privilege to get to support such a worthy charity. Almost everyone knows someone who has been affected by Cancer and Action Cancer performs so many useful tasks from breast screening and health MOTs to support services and awareness campaigns”. HPR along with the support of Action Cancer volunteers managed to raise an amazing total of £5,200.
